Mindful Art Making to Calm Stress and Anxiety
November 21st 2024 at 10:30am -12pm
Berwick Anglican Church Hall
Most people feel some stress, and some experience ongoing, sometimes overwhelming stress. Anxiety may feel like stress but it usually includes ongoing worrying. The worry may be about what has happened or what might happen. Mindfulness practices can help us to stay in the present moment, to calm ourselves and to set aside worries.
In this workshop, we will explore how mindful art making can help reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety. Please note: Anxiety has many individual causes and effects. We will not be able to address these in this workshop. Workshop handouts will include further information.
