We’re passionate about helping you on your wellness journey.

Mission

Our mission at The Evangeline Club is to provide a safe, supportive space for individuals living with mental health experiences. We believe in addressing social isolation and empowering individuals to bring out their best selves through peer support, educational workshops, and recreational activities.

Vision

Our goal is to reduce stigma and promote mental wellness by fostering a community of compassion and understanding. We welcome all individuals to join us in our journey towards mental health advocacy and support.

Charitable Non-Profit Society

Operated as a registered, charitable non-profit society.

Evangeline Club is overseen by the Board of Directors of Evangeline Recreation Society (ERS). After several ‘fits and starts’ the society was formally incorporated in 1990.

During the 30- plus years of operation the Club has operated out of four different locations. In 2013 it found a permanent home in Berwick, purchasing and renovating a former church to create a warm and comfortable clubhouse.
